Antarctica Cruise : Classic Antarctica Air-Cruise
This modern research vessel belongs to the Hydrographic Institute of Saint Ptersburg and is reinforced for ice and sailing in the frozen conditions of the Polar Regions. The ship offers travelers a dining room, lounge, library, infirmary, and sauna. The vessel is also great for excursions with its several Zodiac boats well suited for land tours and wildlife watching.

Day 01 : Arrival to Punta Arenas
You will arrive in Punta Arenas, Chile where you will meet the staff and be transferred to your hotel. Before dinner you will receive valuable travel information regarding your voyage as well as important information about Antarctica, embarkation, and disembarkation. You will be provided with a delicious welcome dinner at the José Nogueira Hotel, a centenary French style mansion, where you will have a chance to meet and get to know the others joining you on your voyage.
Day 02 : Flight to King George Island and Embarkation
Today marks the start of our Antarctic journey and begins with a three hour flight from Punta Arenas to King George Island in the South Shetland Islands. Upon arrival, we will tour the area which includes a number of bases including the Chilean “Presidente Eduardo Frei M.” and the Russian “Bellinghausen”. We will then gather on the beach of Fildes Bay and board the Zodiacs to the vessel.
Day 03-06 : Antarctic Adventures
As we begin our voyage through the South Shetland Islands and the peninsula, we will sail through ice-filled fjords and between breathtaking icebergs. The various species of seabirds will follow behind the ship, such as the famous albatross. We will encounter penguins, seals, and whales during our exploration south to Hannah Point, Port Lockroy, Petermann Island, Paradise Bay, Cuverville, and the Deception Islands to name just a few. We will have daily landings to the surrounding areas in the zodiac boats as well as informative lectures from our nature and historical experts.
Day 07 : Return to King George Island and Punta Arenas
We will return to King George Island once again where we will disembark on the Zodiac boats at Fildes Bay near the Chilean base. We will head to the Teniente Marsh aerodrome to catch our flight back to Punta Arenas, Chile after which you will be transferred to the city if you plan to stay any additional nights.
